The nights at the Hankinson Hut were so peaceful.  I like the ambience that a candle gives to a hut.  There wasn't a sound to be heard except for a gentle rippling of the water outside the hut.  This picture was taken for my friend Nicolas from Switzerland, whom I met him during my first trip to New Zealand.  He took a really great picture of himself while he was on the Dusky Track.  I was inspired by it and tried to imitate it.  However, this one doesn't come close to being as good as the original.
