Landslide!
This is the landslide that had obliterated the track for about fifty meters and probably went up the hill for 200 meters. So as landslides go, it wasn't a really big one, but it gives you the impression of the immense power behind even a smaller one. It is pretty unusual to see a slip that is this fresh. You can tell it's new in that a lot of the rocks have sharp edges which usually wear down quickly and look at all the small stones and powder in the foreground of the picture. The small small stuff usually washes away pretty quickly in the rains. The trees in the area had plenty of rock dust still on them.
