Some of the flowers that I saw on the Howden Track

There was an area where lichens were grown all over the rocks (pictured below).  I found the patterns interesting as they look like mountain valleys when viewed from space.  Nature has certain ways of developing that are common in many different areas and it's not by chance there are similarities in what appears to be very disparate subjects.
