The view up the pass where there was all the spear grass.  The vegetation was very thick and the trail was pretty much non-existent.  Higher up, the trail was totally non-existent and the spear grass was thicker than I've ever seen it.  It wasn't much fun and it was constantly sticking into me through pants and gaiters.  Must have been a spear grass bloom that year.  I'll go back and finish the track sometime, just not this year.
