This picture so much captures the day.  Nice, snowy mountains interspersed with too many tarns to count and the clouds are far enough away to see but close enough to give everything a misty feel.

On the larger pictures, it's much more visible, but you can see a few track markers in the middle descending toward the shoreline. The track heads in between the two tarns before ascending the hills to the left.  If you look closely on these pictures, you can see that.  The waters drain in a steep chute in the upper middle of the picture.  In these parts, whenever the water descends, it does so in a very steep fashion.  Yeah, the conditions were a little rough, but it was so peaceful.
