Tripod Hill really is an unusual mountain.  The left side of the mountain has had a huge rock slide and is sort of at the base of the mountain.  It's kind of hard to see with the shadows but it's somewhat concave on that side.  You can see Gair Loch at the base of the hill.  The hut is in the valley between the two ridges at the very right.
