After the tricky walk from the hut along the fiord walls, I reached Lake Alice.  The lake level was pretty high this day, which was surprising as there hadn't been rain in a day or two.  However, the weather in Fiordlands can be so unpredictable, who know what is happening up the valley.  Next time I get here, I'm going to take a long hike up this valley.
