This picture was taken just before I took the bus to Nadi. I'm
shaking Isoa's hand, Tarsi is in his lap, Sai is in the back, and a
woman from Navola in on the left. As you can see, I'm wearing my
sulu in this picture along with the bua that Sai made for me. You
can't get a real good view of the bua as I'm wearing a white shirt, but
notice how it goes down to my waist and how thick it is with
flowers. I don't know how many flowers there are in it, but
it must be in the hundreds. It was a very nice goodbye
present.
As I write this, I'm smiling. That's what I do when I think back
to
my days in Navola.
