One of the finest moments
of my life was
to stand atop Mt. Memphis. Some mountain tops were green, some were
rocky,
and others had snow on them. The weather was very pleasant
and
and the breeze oh so gentle. There were a few clouds on high,
but
I could see to the edge of forever.
Look at the mountain on the left (and the far right too:-), I think
when
I
return to
the Dusky, I'm going to try to make it to the top of that
one. I
seem
to remember that it looked reachable by foot. If so...I'm
gonna
do
it. I could literally see hundreds of peaks as I looked down
the
length and
breadth of Fiordlands. It was amazing and there is nothing
else
to say. Take a look and you'll understand.
