These picture were taken on the track while paralleling the Seaforth River.  They really aren't showing any one thing in particular, rather trying to show you a diverse view of what you see in the area.  I like the top picture in that when I saw it, I couldn't figure out if it was the track or not that ran up through the center of the picture.  I figured out that it is not.  That's the Dusky for you. 

The bottom picture shows an area where the mosses are running amok but also shows the track itself.  In this area, the track isn't particularly wet or muddy, in fact it is rather civilized (or what passes for civilized to me).  There is everything on the Dusky, easy (or what passes for easy) to extremely difficult.  Its all there.
