The view from anywhere on Mt. Memphis is spectacular but probably the best view is to the north. This side is the steepest dropoff on the mountain and it overlooks the Spey Valley. I spent a long time sitting, looking down on Creation. I knew that I would be hiking up the valley later in the day and the next day and I looked for any indication of the track and I didn't see a thing. That forest down there is way too thick and trail much too obscure. So, I enjoyed the view instead.
If I could only keep one picture for my whole trip, this would be it. Out of the many that I took, this is quite simply the best.
