This is on the trail to the sound but it could be anywhere on the track.  Mostly I took this because I like the bracket fungus.  Not the most spectacular picture but part of the appeal of the area is the small details.  These ferns are absolutely everywhere along the track, but particularly on the track down to the sound where the track is often overgrown with them.  The leaves aren't that soft and after 7 hours of walking, sometimes they can irritate your legs but if that's the worst thing that happened for the day, it's a pretty good day.
