At the end of the Pleasant Range, the land falls
away to the Seaforth Valley. The steep descent starts a short way
from where this picture was taken and from there, it's 1000 meters down
to the Jane Burn and Loch Maree.
The hut is at the end of the loch on the right side. The
waterfall ends in a smaller waterfall right at the edge of the loch and
has enough water flowing that there is a small three-wire bridge to
cross it. Take a look at those valley walls. It's quite a
sight to look up at them from the bottom. It's also quite a site
from on high to not only look down on them but look across to them.
