Yep, pretty typical, this happens a
dozen (or
more) times a day. No big deal. When I got back
from the
Dusky, I wrote my family telling them of my safe return. My
brother mailed me back and said:
"Photos please. Oh life
is so hard for you."
I responded:
This picture was taken by
accident as I don't normally take pictures of my privates (well, at
least not ones I show in public). So take a look at that mudpit behind
me and look at the slop on my thighs and take a wild guess how deep I
went in. So yeah, life is hard for me.
Yes, Fiordlands is known for it's
mud and water, especially the Dusky. So here are a couple of
videos of Yours Truly walking...well, wading or perhaps schlepping
through the mud. Now bear in mind that these sort of mud pits
are encountered every day, multiple times a day. I wouldn't
have it any other way. Near the end of the video on the left,
you'll notice that the camera shakes. The ground is so
waterlogged that it was foot falls causing the video to shudder.
So go ahead and click some filthy fun. Oh, be sure
to have the sound turned on for
full effect!
