The nights in the Hankinson hut were so nice and relaxing.  A fire kept me just warm enough to be comfortable, the sound of the river outside could be heard, and the kiwis were calling all around the valley.  I often try to take such nighttime pictures and some work out better than others.  This one worked out pretty well.
