Captain Vern's boat starts off at Te Anau Downs and crosses Lake Te Anau.  We crossed the lake and went into Middle Arm Fiord which is pictured above.  Looking down the fiord and seeing the mountains in the distance made me say, "I can't wait!"  The panorama below is a link to the view of where we landed on the western shore.
