The trail ahead showed the a relatively clear section of trail as the Pleasant Range ended,
but if one turned around, the snow and clouds remained and that is where I had just come from.  There are a few track markers visible and it follows the ridge up onto the small knob (visible in the bigger pictures).  That was one striking part of the day how it transitioned from the misty, snowy mountain down into the snow-free lower elevations.
