A 1996 Attitude
with a rigid fork, pretty
rare. I've wanted a rigid MC2 bike for a while but they come
up
for sale quite infrequently. By the time 1996 rolled around,
almost all bikes were coming with suspension and and bikes with the
aluminum fork were few and far between. I was thinking about
getting this one repainted but the pearl is a pretty spiffy
color. A little chainsuck and a few minor paint dings but
nothing
too serious. I look forward to riding this one as I like the
96
model year quite a bit.
I have to wonder why Klein put black stems on their bikes.
They
do the bikes up in great paint jobs and then put a plain black stem on
it. Why not match the rest of the frame. Doesn't
seem like
a big deal to paint a stem, it would certainly look a lot
better.
This frame had been repainted but the stem is in the original gloss
black and the stem is going to be repainted in pearl. Not
quite
sure when I'll get to building it up as other bikes have a priority but
I know this one will be a pleasure to ride when finished.
